Kearney Public Schools Announces Kindergarten Parent Night for 2024-2025 Academic Year
Kearney, NE – Kearney Public Schools (KPS) is excited to invite parents of the upcoming 2024-2025 kindergarten class to a special Parent Night. This informative event is scheduled for Thursday, April 11, 2024, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Merryman Performing Arts Center. The evening is dedicated to providing parents with valuable insights into the kindergarten experience at KPS.
During the event, parents will have the unique opportunity to engage directly with a diverse group of KPS professionals. This includes kindergarten teachers, school nurses, elementary principals, school counselors, Bearcat Diner staff, and other educational specialists. Our team is eager to discuss kindergarten expectations, share daily schedules, and assist with finalizing enrollment paperwork. Additionally, parents will be able to ask one-on-one questions, ensuring personalized attention and support.
The Kindergarten Parent Night is specifically designed to equip parents with all the necessary information to smoothly transition their children into their first year of formal education. While we aim to foster an environment of learning and discussion for parents, we kindly advise that attendance by children is not encouraged to ensure a focused and productive session for all attendees.
