Desiree John - Welcome Page

Greetings!

My name is Desiree John and I am an Occupational Therapist with Kearney Public schools.  I serve students/children across the district ages birth to 21.  I graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Colorado State University.  My first five years as an OT, I worked in acute care, skilled nursing facility however predominately in inpatient rehabilitation.  In 2007 I began my career as an educationally based OT with Millard Public Schools.  In 2011 our family moved to Kearney in which I started my career with Kearney Public Schools. I love seeing the smiles, laughter and progress working with children and families.  When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, outdoors, with our pets, reading and going to craft shows.  If you have questions, please don't hesitate to contact me!
