Welcome to 6th Grade English!
Hello! My name is Brooke Benck, and I teach 6th grade English on Team 6 Blue. I can't wait for a year full of learning and having fun with your student. Feel free to read below for a little bit more about me.
I am from Columbus, Nebraska, but I moved to Kearney when I began college at UNK. In 2023, I graduated with a degree in Middle Level English Language Arts Education (5-9) and a minor in Special Education. Before graduating, I completed my student teaching experience here in 7th grade English at Sunrise and subbed in KPS for some of the spring. I feel so grateful to be continuing my teaching experience at Sunrise. Go Silverhawks!!
