Programs of Study

Students who participate in the Business, Marketing, and Information Technology Small Learning Community can explore the following programs of study.  To complete a program of study, students must complete the scope and sequence of courses associated with that program of study.  



Information Technology
Students are preparing for a career in the IT sector will discover ongoing opportunities to learn about and work with exciting new technologies that are transforming our world.  IT education can be obtained in four year colleges two-year community colleges, technical colleges and institutes, and high schools.  Even in times of economic downturn, there is still a large market for people with IT skills in organizations of all sizes.  

Students are preparing for careers in the financial and investment planning, banking, insurance and business financial management.  

Students are preparing for careers in planning, managing and performing marketing activities to reach organizational objectives.

Business Management and Adminstration
Students are preparing for careers in planning, organizing, directing and evaluating business functions essential to efficient and productive business operations.  Career opportunities are available in every sector of the economy and require specific skills in organization, time management, customer service and communication.

Hospitality and Tourism
Students are preparing for careers in the management, marketing, and operations of restaurants and other food services, lodging, attractions, recreation events, and travel-related services.
