MISSION
Kearney's FFA Chapter is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.

OVERVIEW
Kearney High School's FFA Chapter has a membership of 60  members. FFA members are enrolled in agricultural education courses, conduct a Supervised Agricultural Experience Program and can participate in a variety of FFA competitions and activities.We are excited that the Kearney FFA Chapter is experiencing a lot of growth in membership. We are continually exploring new opportunities for its members and are grateful for the increasing supports from the community, business and industry and former members. Kearney High School's FFA Chapter is led by a local officer team The FFA chapter is supervised by the two KHS Agriculture Teachers, Macie Wippel and Kathleen Cullinan.

OTHER LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
The annual State FFA Convention is held each spring in conjunction with the State Career Development Events. Over 4,500 FFA members attend the convention each year. Over 7,000 members, advisors, parents and guests participating in convention activities including sessions, workshops, Career Fair, leadership academy, interviews and Leadership Skills Events. Other events include the the COLT Conference (Chapter Officer Leadership Training), EDGE Workshops, State Officer Chapter Visits, Activate Conference and Leverage Conference.
