Welcome to the Classified Online Application Process

To apply for a position, click the "Apply" button next to the job listing and then select "Apply for this Position" at the top right. 

Now you can begin to create your application profile.  New users will select "Create New".  Previous users can log-in with their past username and password. 

Before you begin, be prepared with the following information.

  1. User Name and Password:
    This will be created on your initial visit.  Record and protect this information for future use.  Your username and password will be needed each time you enter the system. Once this is set up, you will be able to apply for a position in any school that uses the TalentEd Recruit & Hire Application Software.
  2. Email address:
    This will be used for future correspondence.  If you do not have an email address, you can get a free one from one of several providers. Some popular ones are Google Mail, Yahoo and Hotmail.
  3. Social Security Number:
    This will be used for background checks and payroll purposes.
  4. References (at least 3):
    Include their current address, phone number, and email.  These individuals may be contacted to verify your employability.
  5. Previous Work History.  Include dates of employment, current company name, address, phone number, and supervisor's name and email address.  

Note: After completing your application profile, you must click "Apply for This Position" and submit an application for EACH position you wish to be considered a candidate.

Kearney Public Schools, upon employment, utilizes E-Verify to validate the ability of new employees to work legally in the United States. Our E-Verify information is provided by One Source – The Background Check Company.

Kearney Public Schools utilizes One Source – The Background Check Company to check several databases for any state or national criminal history, child and adult protective services charges, etc.  A Driver's License report will be run should you be required to drive a school vehicle of any type.
